I had a fantastic stay at the hotel! The room had a brilliant power shower and lovely surprise of decorated chocolates, plus complimentary soft drinks and snacks in the fridge. The view overlooking Princes Street was amazing. Although the room wasn't ready on arrival, they made up for it with complimentary drinks. The service was incredibly friendly, but there were a few instances of noise in the early morning. The location was ideal, especially for those traveling without a car, with fantastic views of Edinburgh Castle. The dining experience was average with slow service during busy weekends. Overall, a great value for a shopping weekend in the city center.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at the hotel. The rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable, but being located at the back close to the extractor fans of nearby fast-food restaurants caused an unpleasant stale smell even with the windows closed. Despite this, the room size was good enough for a comfortable stay.

Staying at the hotel was a bit challenging due to the noise coming from the building across the road at night, but we eventually managed to get some rest. The price for the room was fair considering the circumstances. The location was excellent for exploring Edinburgh but getting back to the hotel felt a bit chaotic with loud noises along the way during our visit to the Xmas market.
Rooms
6.0
Our room faced the back of the hotel, and the noise from the neighboring building made it hard to sleep until late at night. It was tough to rest properly. The room was decent but not ideal for the interrupted sleep we experienced.

However, the journey back to the hotel was not as serene as expected, with noisy corridors and stairways causing some disturbance.
Dining

While the lack of breakfast was a downside, the hotel's proximity to various dining options made up for it. We enjoyed a delicious vegetarian couscous nearby, which was a nice culinary experience despite the hotel not offering breakfast.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel provided the essential amenities, but the noise disturbances affected our overall experience. The facilities were decent, but the interruptions from the neighboring building took away from a truly relaxing stay.
